Drop core is used when the hole is above or below the parting line. It is also known as wing core, tail core, chair core and saddle core.

Horizontal core, vertical core, and balance core all are generally lies on the parting line between drag and cop box.
But drop core (other names are wire core, saddle core, tail core) is generally lies above or below the parting line.
So (drop core is the correct answer).
