 Subhajit said: (Oct 2, 2016) C2H4 + 2O2 ----> 2CO2 +2H20, 28 kg + 32 kg ----> 88 kg + 36 kg, 28/28 + 32/28 ----> 88/28 + 36/28, So, 9/7 kg is the answer.

 Ritam said: (Oct 2, 2016) The reaction after balancing is as follows: C2H4 + 3(O2) = 2(CO2) + 2(H2O), Molecular mass of C2H4 = 28, 2(H2O) = 2 X 18 = 36, Therefore, 1 kg of C2H4 produces 36/28 kg of H2O, i.e 9/7 kg of water.
