The correct explanation is 1kg of c2h4 required 24/7 kg of oxygen to produce 22/7 kg of co2 and 9/7 kg of water. Not 1kg of oxygen.

No, in balancing 6 oxygen is required to balance the equation and after calculating all the answer is coming 9/4. correct me, if I am wrong.

3 moles of oxygen is required to balance it.

But oxygen required 3.4 kg to produce 9/7 kg of water vapour.

@Rishabh.
Yes, completely agree. The equation is not getting balanced.

But it requires 3.4 kg of oxygen not 2 Kg of oxygen.

The reaction after balancing is as follows:
C2H4 + 3(O2) = 2(CO2) + 2(H2O),
Molecular mass of C2H4 = 28,
2(H2O) = 2 X 18 = 36,
Therefore, 1 kg of C2H4 produces 36/28 kg of H2O,
i.e 9/7 kg of water.
C2H4 + 3(O2) = 2(CO2) + 2(H2O),
Molecular mass of C2H4 = 28,
2(H2O) = 2 X 18 = 36,
Therefore, 1 kg of C2H4 produces 36/28 kg of H2O,
i.e 9/7 kg of water.

C2H4 + 2O2 ----> 2CO2 +2H20,
28 kg + 32 kg ----> 88 kg + 36 kg,
28/28 + 32/28 ----> 88/28 + 36/28,
So, 9/7 kg is the answer.
28 kg + 32 kg ----> 88 kg + 36 kg,
28/28 + 32/28 ----> 88/28 + 36/28,
So, 9/7 kg is the answer.

How 3 kg of ethylene and oxygen produce 22/7 kg of carbon dioxide it is wrong I think.
