Pressure does not depends on kinetic energy of molecules its only depend on momentum exchange of molecules.

V^2 = 3RT/M = 3PV/M^2.

Put mass and volume equal to unity. Get the answer.

How to relate pressure and K.E?

Yahadeepsinh Jadeja said:   1 decade ago
I did not get this question how can we compare the pressure and the kinetic energy?

Please anyone can explain this briefly?

Use kinetic theory of gases PV = 2/3 KE.

How the pressure is related K.E and please give the relation?

To understand this relation please read kinetic theory of gases.

@Jitendra Harbolaji.

V^2 = 3RT/M, How this came?

Kinetic energy is related to Pressure. Kinetic energy is chance of energy from one form to another form by means of change of velocity of the particles. Pressure increases velocity decrease. I we can relate this connection.
