Why only A?, C can also be the answer because in forced vibration the body vibrates under external influence of force.

The given answer if wrong.

The correct answer is option A.

When a body vibrates under influence of force is called Forced vibration. But when its amplitude reduces due friction then it is know as Damped vibration.
