TRANSVERSE PITCH/ BACK PITCH - The perpendicular distance between centerlines of the successive rows.
PITCH - It is the distance from the center of one rivet to the center of the next rivet measured parallel.

I think answer is wrong. The perpendicular distance between rows of center line is called pitch.
