The relation between Young's modulus (E), shear modulus (C) and bulk modulus (K) is given by

E=2c(1+v).......(i).
E=3k(1-2v)........(ii).
From (i),
V=(E/2C)-1.
From (ii)
E= 3k ( 1- 2(putting the value of v )).
Solving the eq,
E/K + 3E/C =9.
Or, 9KC = EG+3Ek.
Or , k = 9kc/ 3k+c
Hence ..showed.
E=3k(1-2v)........(ii).

V=(E/2C)-1.
From (ii)
E= 3k ( 1- 2(putting the value of v )).

E/K + 3E/C =9.
Or, 9KC = EG+3Ek.
