1 - It is best suited for tool steels, sintered carbides, glass, plastics & diamond etc.
2 - It is used for machining of hard & brittle materials.
3 - It cut materials at very slow speed & produces good surface finish.
4 - The vibrating tool made of brass & copper.
5 - The metal is removed by using abrasive slurry b/w the tool& work.
6- The abrasive slurry contains fine particles of Al oxide or silicon carbide or boron carbide &water.
