Hobbing can also be used for mass production and with more accuracy, through single rotation of blank all teeth can be prepared by hob, hobbing can be used for manufacturing spur, helical, worm gear and not used for bevel gear.

But it does not consider that for in terms of accuracy it's all about the mass production so I think casting is the right option.

It is Widely used for mass production of gears except internal gears or gears with shoulders and flanges because of the clearance needed for the job.
