Depth of cut is half of the diameter of hole. So depth of cut is 10 mm.

Here it is (D+t) /2.

You are right @Mahanta.
The Depth of cut is the depth of the hole we made in drilling.
The Depth of cut is the depth of the hole we made in drilling.

In a drilling operation, the depth of cut is measured at right angles to the axis of the drill, i.e. the direction of feed, and is numerically equal to one-half of the diameter of the drill. It can be expressed as:
The depth of cut = (Drill dia/2) mm.
The depth of cut = (Drill dia/2) mm.

So what is the final answer?
0.5D =10mm?
0.5D =10mm?
