The given option C is correct.
Tail Stock set over = (D-d)/2 *L/l.
where L = overall length,
& l = Length of tapered section.
In question, Tail Stock Set Over FOR ENTIRE LENGTH has been asked means L/l = 1.
and hence option C is Right.

D-d/2L is used for compound rest method. Here it is tailstock set over method. So correct answer is 'C'.

The set over can be determined by the formula:
Off-set = (D-d)/2l x L.
Where D = Major dia.
d = Minor dia.
l = Taper length L = Full length.
When the entire length of job is to be tapered the formula:
Offset = D-d/2.
Off-set = (D-d)/2l x L.
Where D = Major dia.
d = Minor dia.
l = Taper length L = Full length.
When the entire length of job is to be tapered the formula:
Offset = D-d/2.

THE RIGHT ANSWER IS D-d /2L because L is overall length of the job where D is the major dia and d is the minor dia.
