Because of clearance, majority wear occurs near to nose part.

Classification of tool wear#depending upon the location of wear as follows:

1) Flank wear : occurs at the relief faces/due to rubbing of relief faces against machined surfaces/is predominant at low cutting speed.
2) Crater wear :occurs at the tool face/due to rubbing of the chip against tool face at higher temperature/is predominant at high cutting speed and where the continuous chip is produced.
3) Corner wear or Nose wear :occures at nose radius/kind of flank wear as there is no significant boundary between nose and flank of the tool

Hence (A) is the correct answer.
