The cement carbide is as a cutting tool which is having good wear resistance so it is produced by powder metallurgy for the materials strength increase.

So, its wear rate should be very low for long life and accurate cut. Powder metallurgy is the process of blending powdered materials with additive and pressing it to form desired shape, then heating and quenching it in furnace.
