dq/q= dl/l+ n dh/h.
For triangular notch no dl/l;
Above n= 5/2 for triangular.
n = 3/2 for rectangular.
Answer for triangular DQ/q= 5/2 * 1% = 2.5%.
For rectangular will be 1.5%.

Discharge over triangular notch = (5/2)*(4/100) = 2.5.
