The correct answer is Option A.
Because, If you consider option B the body will not be in equilibrium condition.

Body will Float if Gravitational force < upthrust of liquid.
Body will Sink if Gravitational force > upthrust of liquid.
Body will Sink if Gravitational force > upthrust of liquid.

Body will Float if Gravitational force < upthrust of liquid.
Body will Sink if Gravitational force > upthrust of liquid.
Body will Sink if Gravitational force > upthrust of liquid.

B is the right answer because. When body flote that condition gravity force is less than the upthrust force.

The exact def of floating is.... move on or near the surface of a liquid without sinking... So For the given condition, it is necessary that the body would have some floating nature so that it wouldn't sink into the water... Meant that its gravity force must b smaller than buoyancy force... Option B is correct.

B is the correct answer because the condition for anybody submerging is, the gravitational force is less than or equal to upward thrust.
