Dynamic viscosity = 0.011 poise.

1 poise = 0.1 Ns/m2. 1N = 1kg m/s2.

i.e., 1 poise = 0.1 kg/ms.

Specific gravity = density of liquid/density of water.

Density of water = 1000 kg/m3. sp.gravity = 0.95.

So, 0.95 = density/1000.

i.e., density = 950 kg/m3.

Kinematic viscosity = dynamic viscosity/density.

K.V = 11*10^-4/950. (1 stoke = 10^-4 m2/s).

So, K.V = 0.0116 stokes.

Given:
Sp. gravity= 0.95 .'. Density= 0.95*1000
= 950 kg/m3.
Dynamic viscosity= 0.011 poise
= 0.0011 Ns/m2.

.'. Kinematic viscosity
=Dynamic viscosity/Density
=0.0011/950
= 1.16*10^-6 m2/s.
= 1.16x10^-6x10^4 stokes.
= 0.0116 stokes.

1- viscosity in English unit.
2- kinematic viscosity in stoke.
