The correct answer is: specific humidity.
During the humidification process, specific humidity increases. Specific humidity is the mass of water vapour per unit mass of dry air. When air is humidified, water vapour is added to the air, increasing the specific humidity.
Here's what happens to the other options during humidification:
- Wet bulb temperature (WBT): Remains constant or increases slightly.
- Relative humidity (RH): Increases.
- Dry bulb temperature (DBT): Decreases or remains constant.
Note that humidification involves adding moisture to the air, which increases the specific humidity. This process can be achieved through various methods, such as evaporative cooling, misting, or using humidifiers.
Specific humidity is an important parameter in psychrometrics, as it helps determine the air's moisture content and its potential for heat transfer and condensation.

Specific humidity and relative humidity both will increase. As it is independent of cooling and heating if there is humidification process it means the specific humidity will increase.

The perfect answer is specific humidity.
Because the primary purpose of humidification is simply by itself to increase humidity so that is to increase specific humidity.

On a psychometric chart this line will be vertical. So going up means change in wet bulb temperature relative humidity and specific humidity.

Conceptually all the three parameters except DBT increases. But, looking at the given options it seems priority wise RH will be the answer!

Option B & D both are true.
During the humidification process both relative & specific humidity increases.
During the humidification process both relative & specific humidity increases.

When I compare with the option specific humidity increase more than RH&WBT.

Except dry bulb temp all three increases. Please do check this answer.
