Option A is wrong because the principle of transmissibility is to apply only for the rigid body, but in this about the statement they didn't mention the as rigid body, so it is a deformable body, so option C is right.

Option (c) is correct for rigid or deformable bodies but Option (a) is only for rigid body, since the question is not directed the body either rigid or deformable so option (c) is absolutely right.
