In vertical direction velocity component is v sin* but in horizontal direction velocity component is vcos*. Hence cos*<sin* if we increase the angle upto 90 degree.

In inclined projectile

R=(u^2)/g(1(+/-)sin deta ) for up +, down -.

So,
For 45 deg ,1/(1+sin45) is 1.4.
And same, 1/(1-sin45) is 3.3.
Therefore
Down > up.

Gravity helps to increase speed in downward direction.

How come a range of projectile on the downward inclined plane will be more? Should it be less na?

Because speed will be more, as gravity is acting, so that distance will be covered in less time. Please, someone, clarify.

In upper direction gravity opposite to velocity & in downward in the direction & it helps & that's why more than.

How it will be more or less on inclined plane?

Range of projectile is the distance between point at which the projectile is projected and reaching the ground.

A projectile is an object upon which the only force acting is gravity.
