The attractive gold-toned coloration of aluminium bronzes has also led to their use in jewelry.

The aluminium gives the alloy lightness.
A 10% aluminium-bronze is used in cast & hot worked condition for parts requiring high tensile strength & resistance to corrosion & wear Iron upto 5% increases the strength & hardness without reducing the ductility.
An alloy containing 11% Al, 5%Ni, 5% Fe, & 79% Cu has extremely high hardness & wear resistance at high temp.
In general aluminium-bronze are much used in aircraft for bushings, gears, bearing, shock absorbs, pistons & similar parts.
The 6% aluminium alloy has a fined gold colour, being used in jewellery & decorative purpose.
