Pearlite forms at eutectoid reaction 727'c.

Austenite --------> ferrite + cementite.

= (0.77%c) (0.02%c) (6.67%c).

Ferrite percentage = ((6.67^\'0.77)*100)/(6.7-0.022) = 88.7%.

Cementite percentage = ((0.77-0.02)*100)/(6.7-0.022) = 11.3 %.
