Micro-structure or crystal structure is generally examined by microscope not by optical microscope.

Basically, the answer is right i.e D.
We examined as Microscope.
But in the case, for more revolution we use Optical Microscope.
In question, it is not asked as more or high revolution. So the answer is Microscope only.
Which is not in question so answer D is correct.
