It is a cube with an atom at each corner and also one atom is situated in the middle of each face of unit cell so there are 14 atoms in a unit shell diagonal of each face length is 4r effective number of atoms = 8 corner atoms (each atoms is shared by 8 unit cell)+6 f.c. atoms (each shared by 2 unit cell) so = 4 and A.P.F = 0.74.
