It is method of steel production at fast rate (approx one hour) and low cast. A very quality steel produced by this method. Capacity of this process is 40-50 tonne. Full name of this is Lintz Donawitz process.
In this process a jet of oxygen at supersonic speed is send to molten bath of big iron which is charge of this furnace. Core temperature of this furnace is 2500-3000 degree centigrade impurities react with oxygen and form slag.
