Steel - upto 2%.
Cast iron - 2 to 4.3 %.
Pig iron - 4.3 to 6.67 %.

Wrought iron is the purest form of iron which is 99.5 to 99.8 percentage. 0.02 percentage carbon content is present.

The wrought iron is an iron alloy with very low carbon content (less than 0.08%).

How it is? An iron should have carbon percentage greater than 1.8 %.
