Steel - upto 2%.
Cast iron - 2 to 4.3 %.
Pig iron - 4.3 to 6.67 %.

Wrought iron is the purest form of iron which is 99.5 to 99.8 percentage. 0.02 percentage carbon content is present.

How it is? An iron should have carbon percentage greater than 1.8 %.
