Answer should be thoughness. Toughness stores energy in plastic range whereas resilience stores energy in elastic range only.

Resilience - The ability of a material to absorb energy when deformed elastically and to return it when unloaded.
Toughness - Ability of a material to absorb energy in deformation in the plastic range.
So, the answer should be [D].
