According to the second statement "If a building has more than three floors, it has a lift" C should be chosen. And its not necessary that if a lift is there it will be used by all floors. It depends on building construction and requirement that lift will work on which floors. And according to question it should run for buildings having more than 3 floors.

1st option is wrong because not necessary that all floors should be reached by floor. If it has 2 floor, it does not require lift.

2nd option is wrong because if we have a lift, it can be used for all floors.

4th option is wrong because if it has below 3 floors, it does not require lift.

So, 3rd option is correct, since 7th floor require lift.

In option A if all floors had lifts then that means even buildings with two floors have lifts which is wrong.

Option B is also wrong because lifts can access all floors including the first floor as long as the building has more than two floors which also disqualifies option D.

Both C and D are right. In answer C, more than three floors have a lift. It's true and answer D, 2nd floor do not have a lift it's true.

According to given statement so. How you told only the right answer is C?

Why is A not the correct option? It's written 'all the floors may be reached by lift'?

Yes, it might not be necessary but the floors might be reached by the lift if that is available.

Above 3rd floor means that the building has lifts.

And its a pretty common sense that if lifts are available then they are available for all floors.

All the options except 3rd can be challenged but in light of the statement option 3rd remains unchallenged.

Rest of the conclusions are doubtful.

If there is a life provided one can use it at any floors rather using for first floor. So why not all?

Lift has to be supported by ground then only it can be exist. So that A should be the answer.

If a lift is avalaible in a building then obviously it can be used by all the floors.
