Directions to Solve

In each of the following questions, a statement/group of statements is given followed by some conclusions. Without resolving anything yourself choose the conclusion which logically follows from the given statements).

11.
Every man should have his identity card with him. That card should mention his blood group, complete address and telephone number for contact, in case, some serious accident takes place.
Blood cannot be transfused until its group is mentioned in the card.
The police needs this information especially when the accident is fatal.
In case of emergency, he may forget his address and may need the card to contact his house.
None is supposed to forget his phone number under any circumstances.
When the seriously injured person is helpless to tell his blood group, this information would suffice to indicate the required blood group.

If a person is unconscious how will he/she remember his phone number?

Will he be in the state of speaking anything?

Sometimes I feel wrong answers are provided here for couple of programs.

In my opinion also, D is the Correct Choice.

In a practical scenario, how many of us will just risk ourselves to help a stranger by rushing him to hospital and incur hefty expenses at times of emergencies. Most likely not, but if a emergency contact is there, surely one can inform them at ease and also based on their response.

One may also take him to near by hospital or assist him further as necessary. So Important information is the Phone No. than the Blood Group. To Conclude Option D is the best choice.

I stand with option E, as it given in question a fatal accident. And we see quiet often that we forget simple things in normal day, but here in emergency we not even remember where we are and who we so this rules out option D, A.

Option B, C is also possible.

If any body can explain please?

@Mr. Ninja_Chick. Go thru the question as it is refers to the case of a "serious accident".

And the requirement of carrying an identity card rules out the necessity of remembering one' phone number.

Option D is right since in statement it is mentioned that in case this means only if it happen the other choices like a, b, c, e is necessary.

I also believe that E is the most suitable answer. B is also right, but it is not Police alone who needs these details. Anybody who are there while the accident happen can use these details to rescue the person.

I think after serious accident (mentioned in Qu. ) first thing comes is saving the life of person. In serious accident mostly blood is the main thing needed. The address phone no can be found later so logically "E" is the best suited answer.

But a concussion may be found as a fatal one. So to take the precautions step it may be considered by police as a fatal happening.

D is the correct option.

Just in case an accident occurs, then the police might need to know a person's details. Suppose a person has a concussion suddenly on the road, it isn't an accident and not exactly fatal either. Still, the police have to inform his family members so they would require an ID.

So, we can't exactly say that an ID card is necessary only when the accident is fatal. That rules out option B.

The reasoning of Option C is too retarded! (I mean who'd forget his own address unless he's an amnesiac?!) Also, we can't generalize it to everyone (in a logical sense).

Similarly, we can also rule out Options A and E since they talk about specific situations. They are true, however. Not ALL the time (like I mentioned in the concussion case, the person might not necessarily have to lose blood).

Hence, the only option left is D. And trust me, it makes the most sense as well.

I don't think so "D" is the correct answer.

How can a person remember his or her number if he is in unconscious stage!

"B" is the correct answer for this question.
