Directions to Solve

In each question below is given a statement followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to assume everything in the statement to be true, then consider the two conclusions together and decide which of them logically follows beyond a reasonable doubt from the information given in the statement.

Give answer:

  • (A) If only conclusion I follows
  • (B) If only conclusion II follows
  • (C) If either I or II follows
  • (D) If neither I nor II follows and
  • (E) If both I and II follow.

5.

Statements: The best way to escape from a problem is to solve it.

Conclusions:

  2. To escape from problems, you should always have some solutions with you.

No where the point of life comes into picture with the given statement. Similarly the point of being dull didn't come into the picture. It was only about solution for a problem. So option B should be the right answer.

Why can't option B follow the statement?

But why doesn't Option B follows. It means to escape from problem we should have a solution, isn't this direct follow ?
