- (C) If either I or II follows

Statements: Jade plant has thick leaves and it requires little water.
Conclusions:
- All plants with thick leaves require little water.
- Jade plants may be grown in places where water is not in abundance.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
The statement talks of jade plants only and not 'all plants with thick leaves'. So, I does not follow. Also, since jade plants require little water, so they can be grown in places where water is not in abundance. So, II follows.

Option A is also correct because it follows simple inductive reasoning i.e. specific to general. As jade plant require less water because of their thick leaves; thus, every plant with thick leaves requires less water.

I think option D is correct as if jade plants require less water so less water can be also given in places where there is abundant water.
It is not necessary to be grown in places where water is not in abundance.
It is not necessary to be grown in places where water is not in abundance.

I think option B is wrong because there is no statement stating about its growth or where the water is not abundance and all that stuff.
It may be an assumption we can make but may or may not be correct.

I agree with B answer because they say that they require less water, so, it means that they grow in a deserted area like cactus in deserts.

How can the 2nd conclusion is correct? Because it is purely an assumption. So, neither one nor two.

According to me, Option c may be chosen. But we can't take a particular decision in this case.

I think D is correct because they need little water that means water should available nearby.

The two conclusions are not correct to the statement. So option D is the right answer.

I think it can be grown or it can't be. Option B is wrong not a definite conclusion.
