Conclusion I doesn't follow for sure, because nowhere it is written that the person is a writer and that he is a poor reader.
But what about Conclusion II? It's a very general line, how does it relate to the statement? Can someone explain in detail?

I would argue I is correct and II is false. If everything in the statement is to be taken as fact, then the writer does not know anything except the fact that he is ignorant, and thus has poor knowledge. Nothing about the world of knowledge in general is mentioned in the statement. Of course, one would understand that this symbolic and that no man can know everything, this is not implied by the statement alone, and could be argued either way.

Conclusion II does not relate at all. Nothing has been mentioned about the vast knowledge. So "II does not follow in your words".

I am not clear about this answer as the statement "I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance" and the conclusion II (as per your answer) does not relate.
