You have to assume everything in the statement to be true, then consider the two conclusions together and decide which of them logically follows beyond a reasonable doubt from the information given in the statement.
Give answer:
- (A) If only conclusion I follows
- (B) If only conclusion II follows
- (C) If either I or II follows
- (D) If neither I nor II follows and
- (E) If both I and II follow.

Statements: To cultivate interest in reading, the school has made it compulsory from June this year for each student to read two books per week and submit a weekly report on the books.
Conclusions:
- Interest in reading can be created by force.
- Some students will eventually develop interest in reading.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Clearly, the new scheme intends to develop interest in reading by incorporating the habit in their routine. So, only II follows while I does not.

Why not D?
Reading 2 books per week has been made mandatory but we can't say with absolute certainty that some may generate interest in reading. It is in fact possible, however minuscule, that all the students will be further repulsed from reading due to this forceful method.

Interest in reading can be created by force. ------this statement can be challenged or it is doubtful.
II conclusion is partial truth it can't be challenged.

Why cant it be [e]. As if the school makes it mandatory then it is kind of using force.
