Statements: Domestic demand has been increasing faster than the production of indigenous crude oil.
Conclusions:
- Crude oil must be imported.
- Domestic demand should be reduced.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
The statement mentions that demand for oil is increasing faster than the production. So, either the demand must be reduced or oil must be imported to cope with the increasing demand. Thus, either I or II follows.

There is no statement that total demand is bigger than total production, so why need import?
There is no statement that demand increase is unproductive so why reduce demand instead of increase production?
So, neither I nor II are strong.

We cannot reduce the demand of anything until an alternative is found, there is no mention of that hence it should be only the first One option A should be the right answer.

Option A seems correct to me as oil is a prerequisite for several industries and domestic consumption, so demand for it is something that you cannot reduce forcibly.

Crude oil and its products are a necessity, not a luxury. Decreasing its demand is just lame. So, A should be correct.

A Should be the correct option, Because oil is a daily necessary thing, you can't force to reduce the oil use.

To me - E must be correct. When demand exceeds supply you can increase supply or decrease demand OR do both.

It's not Possible to decrease demand because there is no alternative so only A follows.
