Statement: The electric supply corporation has decided to open a few more collection centres in the business district area.

Assumptions:

  1. The people in the area may welcome the decision.
  2. Henceforth there may be less time required by the customers for paying electricity bill.

Only assumption I is implicit
Only assumption II is implicit
Either I or II is implicit
Neither I nor II is implicit
Both I and II are implicit
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Clearly, more collection centres would enable the common people to pay their bills easily, conveniently and quickly and this would cause them to welcome the idea. So, both I and II are implicit.

Statement II is a conclusion to the premise statements so how can we say that as an assumption. It tells about what could happen if the electric supply corporation decides to open a few more collection centres in the business district area.

What if they don't need more ways to pay bills and would rather use the space for parks?
