Statement: Should there be uniforms for students in the colleges in India as in the schools?
Arguments:
- Yes, this will improve the ambience of the colleges as all the students will be decently dressed.
- No. The college students should not be regimented and they should be left to choose their clothes for coming to the college.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Clearly, after being in strict discipline and following a formal dress code of the school for so many years, the students must be granted some liberty in college life, as they have to take on the responsibilities of life, next. Besides, schools adopt uniforms to take care of the security of the child - an aspect which doesn't matter much in the colleges. So, argument II holds strong. Also, the environment of the college depends on the students' dedication and etiquettes and not on their uniforms. So, argument I is vague.

Uniform in colleges should be compulsory for students because in college students come from different classes will have no shame and pride.
According to me there should be a dress code.

In an institutions students come from different classes of the society. Without dress code some students will wear dress of high price & some will not. To avoid this visual discrimination in an educaional institution never be exoected.I will go for 'C'.

Colleges have the authority to dictate dress codes for both boys and girls to preserve the ambiance of the college. With disciplinary action to be taken against students who dont follow the dress code. Thus, uniforms are not necessary. This gives certain amount of liberty and freedom to the students and also the college has a bit of control over them.
Thus neither arguments are strong.
Thus neither arguments are strong.

A student should desently dressed while coming to college. more over to maintain a discipline it should be applied at the college level.else if a girls/boys can come to college with a 3/4th and a half sleeveless it would not create a studious environment.
So I think the answer of this question is ambiguous.

Argument 1 is not vague as the students in colleges take the liberty to wear some funky clothes like t-shirts written with logos (which may be absurd or having some weard things written). Also if there is not an uniform there can be a dress code.
