The series is 36,34,30,28,24...
Lets take difference of successive 36-34=2,34-30=4,30-28=2,28-24=4..
By observing the above differences that is clear that 4,2 are the successive differences that we are getting.
So the next difference is 2,4,2,4,2,4, next number 24-2=22.

Firstly the last no of is added i.e. the sum of 6 and 4 of 36 &34 the no. Will be10 then the sum of0&8out of 30&28 the no will be8then. The sum of 4 &2 out of 24&22 the no will be 6.

The numbers are obtained by doubling the numbers in descending order. After every two numbers, one number is excluded.
36= 18*2.
34= 17*2.
The number 16 is excluded.
30= 15*2.
28= 14*2.
13 is excluded.
24= 12*2.
Next number should be 11*2 = 22.

Add Subtracted to 6, 4 or 4 digit number but this simple logic.
36- 2 = 34.
34- 4 = 30.
30 -2 = 28.
24 -4 = 22.

Odd terms are multiple into 6 and even terms are subtracted to 6.
6*6 = 36 34-6 = 28.
5*6 = 30 28-6 = 22.
