36-34 = 2.
34-30 = 4.
30-28 = 2.
28-24 = 4.
24-22 = 2.

So the answer is 22 it is alternate subtraction of 2 and 4.

We can do it other way also as follows:

36 - 30 = 6.
34 - 28 = 6.
30 - 24 = 6.
28 - 22 = 6.

So answer is 22.

36 - 2 = 34.
34 - 4 = 30.
30 - 2 = 28.
28 - 4 = 24.
24 - 2 = 22.
22 - 2 = 20.
The answer is 20 -> option A.

36 - 2 = 34.
34 - 4 = 30.
30 - 2 = 28.
28 - 4 = 24.
24 - 2 = 22.

So, in this way you can get the answer.

36, 34, 30, 28, 24.

36-30 = 6.

34-28 = 6.

30-24 = 6.

Therefore 28-6 = 22.

That is 22 (B).

36-34 = 2,
34-30 = 4,
30-28 = 2,
28-24 = 4,
24-2 = 22,
Hence 22 will be the next term.

3*12 = 36
3*11 = 33+1 = 34.

3*10 = 30
3*9 = 27+1 = 28.

3*8 = 24
3*7 = 21+1 = 22.
