From last divide each number by 3 to find the next number.

For the given number multiply by 3 then we get the solution...

Its very simple.
By given: (1/9), (1/3), 1, ____ , 9,..
The series follows: (3^-2), (3^-1), (3^0), (3^1), (3^2), (3^3)..
So answer is : 3^1 = 3.
