see the difference between 70 71 & -- 81 & 90 91 the difference is 1.
If you see the 71 76 & 81 86 &91 96 the difference is 5.
If you see the 76 -- & 86 90 the difference is 4.
So this pattern follows the 1 5 4 series.
So the answer be 80. and not the 70.

There are two diffrent series. Its 3, 6, 12,..24...48(3*2, 6*2, 12*2,... Logic).
4, 8, 14...(4,4+4, 4+4+6, 4+4+6+8, 4+4+6+8+10...Logic).

for every first column 70 will be constant
then for second column 71, 71+10, 81+10
therefore 70 is the answer.

Just because 70 is constant, it doesn't apply that logical answer should be 70.
Actually the question itself isn't logical.
The correct series should be 70, 71, 76, 80, 81, 86, 90, 91, 96...and so on.

concept is simple-- its prime no. + 1
so here it is
(2+1) (3+1) (5+1) (7+!) (11+1) (13+1) ..(17+1) (19+1) (23+1)..n so on...

Think about this series.. Just see where where 70 occurs.

The answer to series is 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 14, 24, 22, 48, 32...
It goes as follows 3*2=6, 6*2=12, 12*2=24. And 4+4=8, 8+6=14, 14+8=22, 22+10=32.

It is a series of: prime no.(2 3 5 7 11 13 17 19.....) + 1.
So next prime no: 17.
Then: 17+1=18.
