Another way.
22, interpolated as every third number.
So,
4+4 = 8.
8+4 = 12.
12+4 = 16.
16+4 = 20.
20+4 = 24.
24+4 = 28.
So answer is 28.
22, interpolated as every third number.
So,
4+4 = 8.
8+4 = 12.
12+4 = 16.
16+4 = 20.
20+4 = 24.
24+4 = 28.
So answer is 28.

I think the answer must be E because the differance is 4 in between each digits and 22 is interpolated.
