I have this question: A series has 17 numbers, if the second is 3, what is the fast number?

14+14=28.

And then subtract 28-8=20.

20+20=40.

And subtract.

40-8=32.

And add above number.

32+32=64.

And now subtract.

64-8=56.

You get the answer 56.

First number*2 = Second number.

Second number-8 = Third number.

14*2=28.
28-8=20.
20*2=40.
40-8=32.
32*2=64.
64-8=56.

1st no + with same = (Answer - 8).

14, 28 (14+14), (28-8) 20, 40 (20+20), (40-8) 32, 64 (32+32) = 56 (64-8).

14, 20, 32.

14 + 6 = 20.

(6 + 6 = 12) 20 + 12 = 32.

(12 + 12 = 24) 32 + 24 = 56.

The formula is first multiply by 2 then subtract by 8 :

14 x 2 = 28.
28 - 8 = 20.

20 x 2 = 40.
40 - 8 = 32.

32 x 2 = 64.
Since 64 - 8 = 56.

Therefore the answer is B. 56.
