We can also do like this;
14 + 14=28.
28 - 8 = 20,
20 + 20 = 40,
40 - 8 = 32,
32 + 32 = 64,
64 - 8 = 56.
14 + 14=28.
28 - 8 = 20,
20 + 20 = 40,
40 - 8 = 32,
32 + 32 = 64,
64 - 8 = 56.

Also, multiple of 6 are being added if you take alternate numbers.
14 + 6 = 20,
20 + 12 = 32,
32 + 24 = 56 Ans.
14 + 6 = 20,
20 + 12 = 32,
32 + 24 = 56 Ans.

14 × 2 = 28.
28 - 8 = 20.
20 × 2 = 40.
40 - 8 = 32.
32 × 2 = 64.
64 - 8 = 56.
28 - 8 = 20.
20 × 2 = 40.
40 - 8 = 32.
32 × 2 = 64.
64 - 8 = 56.

The gaps between the numbers can also be considered;
14, 28,20,40,32,64,.......
14-20 =6
20-32=12(6*2)
So,
This continues and the gap between the 32 and ans will be 24(12*2) and we got ans as 56.
or
The gaps between the 2nd and 4th no is 12 and the gap between the 4th and 6th no is 24.
14, 28,20,40,32,64,.......
14-20 =6
20-32=12(6*2)
So,
