Since both the statements are Universal negative. i.e. supplied by First term (+) and Last Term (+). Possibilities are No Bat is Wicket and No wicket is bat. But I was shocked by seeing option D as an answer. Can you please explain me?

Suppose that, bat = p, ball = q and wicket = r then,

No bat is ball means p%q.
No ball is wicket q%r.

So here we cannot apply the rule of syllogism.

This is the only one I can't seems to understand why it isn't A. I thought since no bat can be ball, and no ball can be wicket, therefore no bats can be wickets. Am I wrong? Can I be wrong? If neither is really the answer then how it is alludes me.

Going by majority, it should be correct.
