You have to take the given two statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Read the conclusion and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the two given statements, disregarding commonly known facts.

- (A) If only conclusion I follows

- (C) If either I or II follows
- (D) If neither I nor II follows and
- (E) If both I and II follow.

By venn diagram option should be E.
If its definite answer then fine, he it says some doctors are rich. Which is possible as per venn diagram.
Venn diagram can be made in different ways, but when we say no there should be no exclusion to it. Even if once of the diagrams show an option, then we must go with it.

At first, I thought it might be C. But we cannot actually determine if either one is true and since we cannot determine that, we must choose that they are both wrong.

Some doctors are rich is complementary to no doctor is rich--it means that the statement"some doctors are rich" may or may not follow.
That is why neither of them is correct.

You are considering one of the possible venn diagrams. However, there will be three possible venn diagrams for the problem.
And according to them, the answer will be (C).

The answer should be (b) that is only answer follows because going by to venn diagram.
Let doctor be the super set then all the fools come in the set of doctor but some doctors are left (because there is said some doctors are fool) and after that some fools are rich so the set of rich will come inside the set of doctor and fool (leaving some fools as not a rich person thats according to conclusion 2) so its prove that conclusion 1 is wrong and other is right.

What if the conclusion is particular neg and the both options given is also perticular neg ? for example :
Statement:
No crystal is stone
Some stones are diamonds
Conclusion:
1) Some diamonds are not crystal
2) All crystals are not diamonds
Statement:
No crystal is stone
