Directions to Solve

In each of the following questions, three statements are given followed by four conclusions numbered I, II, III and TV. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

12.

Statements: All players are spectators. Some spectators are theatres. Some theatres are dramas.

Conclusions:

  1. Some dramas are spectators.
  2. Some players are dramas.
  3. Some theatres are players.
  4. All spectators are players.

None follows
Only I and III follow
Only II follows
Only II and IV follow
All follow
Answer: Option
Explanation:

All players are spectators. Some spectators are theatres.

Since the middle term 'spectators' is not distributed even once in the premises, no definite conclusion follows.

Some spectators are theatres. Some theatres are dramas.

I think this question has confusion. Because when all players are spectator, some spectator are theaters, so all spectator are players, isn't it? I think all follows like that.
