Statement: A large number of engineering graduates in the country are not in a position to have gainful employment at present and the number of such engineers is likely to grow in the future.
Courses of Action:
- The government should launch attractive employment generation schemes and encourage these graduates to opt for such schemes to use their expertise and knowledge effectively.
- This happened due to proliferation of engineering colleges in the country and thereby lowered the quality of the engineering graduates. Those colleges which are not equipped to impart quality education should be closed down.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
The emphasis should be not on the Government putting all the engineering graduates to jobs but on the colleges producing not 'degree-holders' but real technical minds which could compete well for gainful employment. So, only course II follows.

My opinion would be E because they have given growing in future - so that must be stopped for which 2 is required and for current people, jobs should be given for which 1 is required.

Not sure how this conclusion was reached? Where is it implied that the engineers are of poor quality?

I think the answer should be E because who have passed from those colleges, it is necessary to take some arrangements for them. They went to study. Poor quality of colleges is not their fault.

RITU agree with you completely.
Correct option must be E.

Correct option should be E because government should take initiative in such circumstances.

Answer should be A guys.
Closing educational institutes isn't a solution. Rather measures to should be taken to make these non quality institutes worth the matter!
So first one for job employment seems to be good as any govt would want unemployment to disperse and employment and prosperity of its citizens a priority.
So answer is A. B not never because it is too harsh a step to be taken in a situation!

"On the basis of the information given in the statement, decide". It was not given in the statement that "This happened due to proliferation of engineering colleges in the country".
Therefore that is an assumption. Answer D would be correct.
Therefore that is an assumption. Answer D would be correct.

But what about the old students that have passed out for them. The government has to take some steps. If it was logical?
