Yard is to inch as quart is to
gallon
ounce
milk
liquid
Answer: Option
Explanation:
A yard is a larger measure than an inch (a yard contains 36 inches). A quart is a larger measure than an ounce (a quart contains 32 ounces). Gallon (choice a) is incorrect because it is larger than a quart. Choices c and d are incorrect because they are not units of measurement.

If Yard is larger than inch then between yard & inch there is foot.

So why not Gallon that is as away from Ounce as Yard from inch.

Ounce is a measure of weight. So I think gallon must be correct answer.

Quart and Gallon are the units of volume, whereas ounce is the unit of mass.

Quart is a quarter of a gallon, thus a unit of volume. They're saying 1 quart = 32 ounces. But I'm afraid they're wrong, because 1 quart = 32 fluid ounces. Ounce and fluid ounce are two completely different units, the former being a unit of mass and the latter a unit of volume. Hope they resolve the issue soon.

Can someone tell me the measurements in increasing order and to what it is related?

Ounce is a measure of mass. But gallon is a measure of liquids. Hence gallon is the answer.

Yard and inch are units of length.
Similarly, quart and gallon are units of volume.
Hence, the correct answer is gallon.
