In my opinion, anything that is not your cup of tea becomes a real challenge in life.
And I faced one of my biggest challenges right after my post-graduation.
I got a placement and moved to a new city for my job, but within a month, the COVID-19 pandemic started. I was still in my training period, not a full-time employee, so the company let me go. Everything changed suddenly.
I didn’t want to go back home because I knew my parents wouldn’t allow me to move out again for work. So, I stayed alone in the city without a job. I told my parents that my training had shifted online, just so they wouldn’t worry.
For almost three months, I lived in my PG with no income, managing everything on my own. It was emotionally and financially very difficult.
When things slowly started getting better, and companies began hiring, finding a job as a fresher during that time was extremely tough.
But I didn’t give up. I finally joined a BPO—even though it was not my cup of tea just so I could support myself and tell my parents that I was earning and doing fine.
That phase taught me strength, patience, and how to stand on my own feet. It’s a challenge that shaped me into a more confident and independent person.

During the pandemic, I missed my online classes, and when the semester exams approached, I felt unprepared. I thought I wouldn’t pass, so I decided not to pay the exam fees.
But my sister encouraged me, saying it would be harder later if I didn’t take the exams. Her advice motivated me to pay the fees and study hard, and I cleared all the subjects in one attempt. This experience taught me to stay positive, trust myself, and face challenges instead of avoiding them".
