HARD WORK is that when you do more work physically without understanding the whole reasons and not find the shortest way with the right direction, with right calculation and with right requirement!
SMART WORK is that when you use your all mental abilities in the right direction, with right calculation and with a right requirement which takes less time to complete to the work!

Hard work is that when we do something at a stretch without any thought,
And as far as smart work is concerned, smart work is that when we do anything with full confidence, from our heart and to be full concentration that called.
Smart work, in sum up we will have to get that whatever we think, we become the same,
So whatever you do, the same you will get.

Hard work means I am spending more time to finish any work. Planning is less however physical effort is there to finish any work.
Smart work means I can finish my work with good planning or mental effort to reduce the time on completing any work.

Hard work is putting your heart and soul into a job.
i.e. Burning the Midnight Oil.
Whereas Smart work is a planned approach with a balance of action and mind.

Hard work involve more on physical efforts rather than mental efforts due to this it take longer time to complete the task.
In case of smart work, it involve more on mental efforts rather than physical efforts due to this it take shorter time to complete the task because of proper planning.
Smart work can only be achieve if a person has done hard work in his/her past.

H.W makes work longer, more complex and energy consuming.
S.W is like intermediate take very less time for completing work and more often it makes your task more simpler than what actually it is and save your valuable energy, which may allow you to do more work with the same energy uses.
