To become a successful person we required both hard work as well as smart work.
Hard work requires patience, time, and a lot of effort but smart work requires experience of hard work. Without hard work smart work is nothing.

Hard work and smart work is same at the end which means at the result. But we can save time and energy in smart work than the hard work. But the thing is you can be a smart worker through your experience from your hard work.

One of the best example that I have from my childhood is hard work is like a staircase and smart work is like a lift, you may fail or get stuck sometimes but for sure I don't have much time and energy to choose a staircase.

You can work smartly only when you have worked hard and know the in and out of doing any task. With hard work, you will come to know the ways of doing things in smarter way We can say hard work is the mother of smart work.

Suppose a wood cutter is cutting wood without sharpening his tool for hours that is hardwork and if he sharpens his tool and cuts wood then its smart work.
One can finish the same job in a lot lesser time with smart work.

If you are giving a lot of effort to complete a task that's the hard work but for the completion of the same work, you are consuming less energy and effort and doing your work in an efficient way then it is smart to work.

Hard work includes the straightforward method of doing some tasks, which can require more time and more energy.
Smart Work includes alternative ways of doing the same task more efficiently with less time and less energy.

Smart work is skill acquired from hard work.
Everyone in their initial stages did hard work to gain reputation.
Smart work is the sheer reflection of experienced and skill set gained from the days when one worked hard.

If you are realising that you are doing hard work that means you are on the track of unsuccessful, if you don't realise and just do the job with passion you will automatically become a smart worker and achieve the goal.
