In my opinion, hard work is when an employee invests all his time and energy to complete one particular work, and smart work is when an employee completes his work without much effort and energy by using their skills and techniques.

Hard work: It is something with which you work to complete an assignment with existent machinery/processes/systems in place.

Smart work: its quite same as hard work, but with added improvements/ innovations to the existing system.

I think both of things are important in a person because smart work is done by hard work, but it should be in the right direction. We can't do start smart without hard work. These are the two sides of a coin, so both are important.

I think both hard work and smart work are correct but the difference between them is Hard work shows that how healthy and fit enough your body is and Smart work shows that how you are brain is very active and differently thinking.

'I can do this'.
This is confidence because I am making a statement on myself since I know what my ability is.

'Only I can do this'.
This is over confidence because I am making a statement on others without knowing their ability.

Hard work is doing a work in a dedicated manner. It takes more time, it affects the mental health and it creates stress.

But smart work means doing something in a systematic way, which is the simple and shortest way to do a work.

Hard work is very much necessary in your life because without practice hardly you can not be able to do that smart work.

So, I think both terms are very much meaningful in our carrier and both terms are a backbone of each other.

Sir for ex. If I had to open a lock and I don't have the key to open it. The time I used a hammer to open it will be called as hard work. But instead if I can use a hand cutter to cut the lock. It will be considered a smart work.

Hard work - where we are putting a lot of physical abilities for full fill my task and getting a result.

Smart work- when we are using our skill to complete out work with limited time. There behalf of brain abilities with skill.

According to me, hard work is related to our physical strength and smart work is done mentally.

For success, both are required like steering and accelerator in car which direct and give necessary speed to reach our destination.
